Description

1970 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster

1970 Corvette Stingray is a RARE find from a VERY limited production year, due to the GM Factory Plant strike only 17,316 total Corvettes were built for 1970.
Of those only 6,648 of them were convertibles.
Of those only 4,473 of those total Corvettes built were equipped with the 454 “LS-5" engines.
Factory equipped with power steering and 4-wheel disc brakes. Featured with matching painted hard and soft top.
Car starts, drives and handles perfectly, drive anywhere right now.

Purchased from De Anza Chevrolet in Riverside California on June 13th 1970.
This is a One Owner documented and numbers-matching LS5 Corvette with only 70K Actual Documented Miles since new.
Powered by the torque-monster LS5 optioned 454/390hp "CGW-code" V8 (which was the only Big Block option for the model year) with correctly coded M20 close ratio 4 Speed transmission and posi-rear. The Rochester 4BBL Carb was recently rebuilt and looks like the day it was installed.
New brake master cylinder has recently been installed.
Recently serviced with new fuel sending unit, new fuel line hoses. Work preformed by Corvette Mikes Anaheim California (see images) Aftermarket headers were added in the 80s and aftermarket rear 6x9 stereo speaker boxes.
This corvette came factory with Daytona Yellow code 984.
In 2003 the car was re-painted by McJacks Corvettes in Anaheim California in 2003 to Black. (See invoice image)
Exterior over its superb original fiberglass body with excellent chrome and trim from front to back.
Paint is in very nice condition 9 out of 10. Paint has very minimal touch ups, imperfections, surface scratches that will all come out with a paint correction/color sand and buff.

Original unrestored black convertible top in very good condition is included. The rear plastic window has yellowed however still very usable. (See images)
Comes with the actual original window sticker and the original dealer invoice from De Anza Chevrolet in Riverside California.
Among other historical documents included are registrations from 1970 to present, original dealer finance agreement and a 3 ring binder of other documents, receipts. (See images)

This 70 C3 Corvette has been well maintained, driven and cared for all its life since new. Kept in an enclosed garage in Riverside County in the care on one person who loved it and drove it.
This is not a trailer queen or concors perfect show car.
The car is ready to be driven and is pretty much turnkey for owner #2.
Other than paint, headers and the wire spoke period correct aftermarket wheels this corvette is unrestored and unmolested.
Incredibly everything works on this Corvette as it should such as all dash indicator lights, heater, gauges, horn, headlights, etc.
Lots of new parts recently installed in 2024 with receipts
Clear California Title and current California DMV registration.
All historical documents and license plate transfer to owner you, owner #2.
