Overview:
Here is a beautifully restored 1965 Ford Mustang, specifically an early '65 model year (1964-1/2) F-Code, Meaning originally equipped with a 260ci V8 2v. Now this Mustang has been upgraded to 289ci 4v rebuilt engine. Backed by a 4-speed manual transmission, and a 3.55 Rear Posi-traction differential making acceleration great!
Suspension/Brakes:
All New front suspension, front 1-inch lowering stiffer springs, bushings, control arms, new steering box, and steering linkage. Front performance KONI Shocks, Rear air shocks for ride height adjustability and wheel clearance, along with new leaf spring shackle bushings. New front disc brakes drilled and slotted for performance, new rear drum brakes, all new fuel and brake lines, new rear brake cylinders. Cruises straight down the road and handles amazingly!
Electrical:
Brand new (AAW) complete vehicle electrical harness. Digital Radio with two rear pioneer stereo speakers, 1 stereo speaker up front with Bluetooth connectivity, USB charge port and aux port. Fully functional gauges, standard Fuel and Temp Gauges as well as aftermarket Oil Temperature and RPM Color change selectable gauges. 3-speed heater for defroster/feet/fresh air modes. One wire high output alternator, internally regulated. Electric choke, with points ignition. The new electrical harness has built-in circuits for adding additional accessories.
Cosmetic:
Wimbledon White paint with Blue “GT-350” Themed stripping. The Vehicle paint is two years old, was stored for 1 year before the restoration began. The final polish on the clear coat has not yet been done. It is optional to polish the paint to further the gloss finish of the clear coat at your discretion. Most stainless trim pieces have been replaced with exception to the original stainless window frames for both passenger and driver side glass. The car also has all original 'Car-Lite' glass except front windshield. Black Vinyl Interior is brand new, re-upholstered front and rear seats are very comfortable. New headliner, all weatherstripping throughout the car seals tight. Along with improved sound deadening on floors, the car cruises very quietly and comfortable. Custom one key design opens every lock and ignition on the car, air shock air fitting is in the trunk for easy air adjusting. American racing rims, paired with BFG Radial T/A Tires for excellent appearance and handling.
